Dial a Geek in the Small Biz 100 List

Small Business Saturday words in wooden blocks on a table
Have you seen the new banner on our home page and wondering what it’s about? The exciting news is that Dial a Geek have been chosen as one of Small Business Saturday’s Small Biz 100 for 2015.

Small Business Saturday was established in 2013 to support the 5 million small businesses in the UK, which is why we are so proud to be of the 100 businesses chosen to represent them in 2015. If you would like to get involved with Small Business Saturday (5th December) just head over here to find out how your business can take part in the nationwide event. The Small Business Saturday bus will also be rolling into Bristol on the 26th November 2015, so please come along and say hello!

You might have already read about our success in The Telegraph, The Bristol Post, or on the Brookson Accountant’s website, which had this to say about Dial a Geek’s appearance in the Small Biz 100 List:

“A particularly good example is the Bristol-based IT support company Dial-A-Geek, which offers IT support to homes and businesses. It has been able to help over 900 companies since it was set up in 2006, which reflects the potential value of SMEs when it comes to encouraging others to go into business in their area.”

This recognition of Dial a Geek’s hard work is wonderful, and I would like to use this opportunity to thank all of our clients who have made Dial a Geek the business it is today. Gildas started the company in 2006 with a mobile phone and an ironing board desk, and since then our team has grown every year and we’ve provided IT support to over 900 small businesses.

Keep an eye out for our own Small Business Saturday event, a seminar for small business owners with a focus on achieving a more efficient and productive office. Our event will be held on the 4th December, and we’ll be revealing more details over the next of month.

Once again, thank you! Without our wonderful clients Dial a Geek wouldn’t be the business it is today, and Gildas would probably still be using an ironing board as a desk. We’re proud to say that we get most of our business through word of mouth, and you can meet some of these happy clients on our testimonials and case study pages. If you would like to help us to continue growing (and improving), you can leave your own review of Dial a Geek on Facebook.
