Boomerang is a Gmail extension that allow you to schedule, track and resend emails. Here at Dial a Geek we like to keep a tidy inbox and Boomerang is great for reminding us to follow up with clients and emailing people at the right time.
Chief geek Gildas Jones is a recent convert and for him the benefits of Boomerang are improved inbox organisation and better conversation management.
The free service allows you to schedule 10 messages or less a month, or can can pay for more with a personal, pro or premium subscription.
FEATURES
Send Later: You can write an email now and schedule it to be sent automatically at any time from 5 minutes later to 2038.
Reminders: You can also use the mobile app to email reminders to yourself to arrive at the right time. So if you’re out on a Friday evening you can set a reminder for yourself to arrive in your inbox at 9am on Monday morning.
Track Emails: Reminders to follow up on an email, you can set these for when you haven’t received a reply, or when you have. Email receipts let you know when your email has been read.
Boomerang: Received an email that you don’t need to deal with right now? Postpone the email and it will boomerang into your inbox again when you need it.
